"Yes, I was infatuated with you; I am still. No one has ever heightened such a keen capacity of physical sensation in me. I cut you out because I couldn’t stand being a passing fancy. Before I give my body, I must give my thoughts, my mind, my dreams. And you weren’t having any of those."

zotangg asked: Hey just stumbled across your blog! your dreads man! ohh so amazing! I was wondering if you bleached your hair before locking up? I bleached mine after locking up and can't seem to get the bleach to penetrate the locks. Any tips?

Answer:

hey man, apologies if any of this makes shit all sense ive spent the last 12 hours drinkign and dancing to fucking crazy tek and trance….little bit wobbly to say the least! my hairs been bleached since i was 12…im now almost 21 so when my hair locked naturally over the past few years it was already bleached, although when i decided to take the leap and do my full head i was a little worried about the whole bleaching thing. with my hair being fully bleached all i do now is my roots which with me being lazy means bleaching the knotty parts beacause i get biiiig rootts…ive found they dont take as well as normal hair would and after time i sometimes notice the hair within the locks is still my natural colour…when it came to colouring my hair different colours…with them already being very porous from years of bleaching on the ends they took beautifully! so i guess my tip would be, be patient…dont over colour your hair…locks can be very fragile and over bleaching can ruin them…i guess just make sure when you colour them use more peroxide to bleach powder for a start, this means the bleach will more than likely penetrate the locks better than maybe a more powdery mix of bleach. since getting a full head ive found mixing my bleach more peroxide to powder helps alot…make sure you rinse ALOT like spend a good 20 odd minutes at least rinsing the dye out to make sure nothing gets stuck in there! but yeah again, i dont really know any tips other than just keep trying untill you get an even colour, then all you have to worry about is the roots after which gets easy after a few goes :)…thats probably the owrst advice ever haha sorry!! but its all i’ve got D:
